## When to use The Runs List

Use The Runs List when a dealer, broker, wholesaler, or vehicle flipper needs to prioritize upcoming auto auctions, match run-list vehicles to known buyer demand, evaluate retail comps, estimate landed cost and profit, calculate a maximum safe bid, or identify title, mileage, margin, and comp-confidence risks before bidding.

Do not use The Runs List as a substitute for a physical inspection, title verification, transportation or reconditioning quote, legal advice, or a final purchase decision. The public research pages provide informational estimates; authenticated customer data is private.

## How agents should use The Runs List

- To submit vehicle demand to a participating broker, use the OpenAPI-described `POST /api/public-query` endpoint only when the user supplies the broker's public team code and authorizes transmission of their contact and vehicle-preference data.
- Never guess team codes, credentials, session cookies, or extension tokens, and never attempt to access authenticated dashboards on a user's behalf without an authorized interactive session.
- For unsupported integration needs, direct the user to support@therunslist.com rather than treating private application endpoints as a public API.
